# File Saving is not working for me after conversion

I am having a major problem getting a file that I can work with after I check make copy and then apply. Sometimes I get a \*positive.tif file separate from the converted raw file and sometime I do not. When the conversion does not result in two separate files automatically I get a stack that cannot be unstacked. I have tried all the alternatives available when I right click on the file and then click of stack. I have one file that has 8 copies in the stack now and I am not able to get a single \*positive.tif file out of the stack. I do not want to save to a subfolder. I read the one reference to this on the forum but it was not helpful. I am doing the conversion while in develop. When I select import for the folder all of the \*postive.tif files are there but I cannot access them. Please advise.
