I am not sure what is causing the problem you see below. It only happens when I am tethered to LRC. I am using a Canon EOS R5 and the 100mm R macro lens. I have been using the same setup for three years and until a couple of months ago I never had an issue. Thankfully I was away for the summer and hoped that by purchasing a new Tether Tools cable while away the problem would disappear on my return… it didn’t. I removed the lens, cleaned the lens & camera connections, used a different battery, removed the memory card, tried another lens and no change. The flashing symbols only appear in tether mode and not while shooting nor does it leave an imprint on the negative scan or image. I could ignore it, but I am almost sure there must be an explanation for it. The camera has never been used for anything other than scanning and has never been outside so it can’t be overuse. edit: I have a Mac Studio desktop and MAC OS Tahoe 26.6.2 installed Any help would be appreciated.
