# What does NegativeLabHotkey.exe do?

After installing NLP in Windows, I noticed that NegativeLabHotkey.exe is running in background every time windows boots up. Is this an application that maps some hotkeys into Lightroom? If so, is there a list of the hotkey functions?

Yes, this is what maps the Negative Lab Pro shortcut to Lightroom.

You can learn more about it in the [Windows Installation Guide](https://www.negativelabpro.com/guide/installing/#windows-installation), and even download the script if you want to see exactly what it is doing.
