I’m an “old fart” photographer, now semi retired, but was shooting pro for several decades, doing a variety of commercial and editorial work including ski magazines and Nat Geo. Lately, especially during COVID, I’ve been spending more time organizing and digitizing the historical work of my father, who was a photojournalist and commercial photographer. His first major assignment was covering the 1936 OIympics, and yes, he has a shot of Jesse Owens crossing the finish line! The website link I’ve included is for his photography.
I’ve had a variety of film and flatbed scanners and have been using a DSLR for digitizing for about 15 years.
