Color Profile Help!

So, I scanned the negatives with my Epson v600 as tiffs (48 bit) then import into LR. When I open NLP the color profile in the Develop module doesn’t change. It just stays “Color”. And my negatives are converting with really strong saturation even tho I use the lowest pre-saturation setting. Is the color profile thing why they’re so saturated??

Hi Lyssa,

You need to scan in RAW in order to benefit from the color profiles made by Nate for your scanner. In order to scan RAW you will need VueScan or SilverFast.

But you can still get some really good color with the EPSON software using TIFF’s.
