I’ve just updated to 2.3 and haven’t used NLP for about two months and its reverted back to trial mode on my 2015 MBP. Assuming I should uninstall and re-install?

No need to reinstall. Just restart your computer, and then go to “file > plugin manager” in Lightroom. Then re-enter/re-submit your license code.
