I currently have SilverFast. The workflow advice seems to be telling me that with SF, I can’t take advantage of their infrared noise removal, whereas with VueScan I can.
Leaving aside the possibility that you might decide to deal with SF’s HDRi files some day, have I parsed this correctly? I don’t want to spend money on VueScan to no purpose, but I’m also not fond of all the time I spend ‘spotting.’
