Orange Outline around some things in my scans

I’ve noticed that some of my scans have this orange outline around things in my image. I’m using an Epson v600 scanner with 24 bit color at 2400 resolution. I put my negatives in the holders that the scanner comes with.

in this one it’s around the people and the little blob in the top center.
