Colors are off, what should I do?

I’m scanning a roll for my friend using NLP 3.0.2.
I use DSLR scanning: Sony a7m3 with sigma 70mm macro, light source is homeamde light pad (6500k, RA 98+),

The negative scann is like this, added some border to show that it is very overexposed.

Do you have the RAW file? At first glance nothing looks outwardly wrong with the image, other than the drying streaks and water spots on the film.

The capture looks really dark and I suppose that the histogram looks left-centered too.

Try to rescan the film and follow Nate’s hints. Film Scanning Best Practices | Negative Lab Pro
