Fuji X-T2 Macro Lens for APS Film

Hi,

I would like to camera scan a bunch of APS film that we have from the early 90’s - The original prints havent aged well and this would seem like the only viable option…So, following Nates recomendation, I have found a used Fuji X-T2 with 60mm macro (the fuji 80mm is too much for now)

Considering the following, what are your thoughts on the 60mm lens?
Camera sensor: 23.6mm x 15.6mm
APS film: 30.2mm x 16.7mm
Lens magnification: .5 (.68 & .76 with fuji tubes)

Id like to make the most of the resolution/quality from the X-T2 if possible.

Any help is most appreciated.

Edit: its the FUJINON XF 60mm F2.4 R Macro lens

Edit the second: Fuji X-T2 & Kaiser Plano are now ordered  After doing some more reading I think I’ll look out for a ‘Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2× Ultra Macro’

I cannot speak from experience, but I have read that the Fuji XF 60mm macro may have slightly more field curvature than would be ideal for copying flat subjects like film.

I’m using the X-T2 and use the Laowa 65mm. Works great.
