Lume Cube 2.0 as light source

There is this Nikon s ES-2 film scanning tutorial on Youtube where a Lume Cube 2.0 is used as a light source:

In the comments people say that it’s not a recommended light source for film scanning. I just checked their website and they market it as “True Daylight Balanced 5600K Color Temp & 95+ CRI”. Isn’t that pretty good? It’s also cheap, light and small, and it can be used as a portable light source on photo trips (a light table obviously can’t).

Has anyone compared the Lume Cube 2.0 with any other light sources?

I’m also interested in this type of light. There are a few on ebay like this Viltrox unit that seem to have specs that would be conducive to scanning. VILTROX VL-162T CRI95+ LED Video Light

These panels look interesting. They can be set up to 10’000K which helps get blue pixels better exposure, not something like this:
