There is this Nikon s ES-2 film scanning tutorial on Youtube where a Lume Cube 2.0 is used as a light source:
In the comments people say that it’s not a recommended light source for film scanning. I just checked their website and they market it as “True Daylight Balanced 5600K Color Temp & 95+ CRI”. Isn’t that pretty good? It’s also cheap, light and small, and it can be used as a portable light source on photo trips (a light table obviously can’t).
Has anyone compared the Lume Cube 2.0 with any other light sources?
