Negative Supply equipment question

Nate, I’ve invested in the NS equipment, all of it, for digitizing my 35mm film. It should ship in a week or so, although I expect that Saxon is really busy. I don’t know what piece of equipment, if any, I should use to connect my X-H1 to the camera arm that extends from the vertical post of his Pro-Riser. I would like to use a piece of gear that would allow me to adjust the camera body fore and aft, up and down, while attached to the Riser’s arm and maintain precise parallel positioning over the film. I may be making this more complex than I need to, and if so, that reflects the fact that I don’t know much about digitizing film and the setup required. Any help you or others might suggest, I’d be grateful for.

Hi @ANTHONY81 - I’m not sure, you’d have to ask the folks over at https://www.negative.supply/ (this site, Negative Lab Pro, is not affiliated with Negative Supply, although I really like the products they are putting out!).

If I had to guess, though, I would expect that the Pro Riser will include a screw to attach from the unit to your camera.

Cheers!

Thanks, Nate, your software and their setup should be awesome together.

take care, anthony

I emailed Saxon with the same question and here his is answer

"Hello!

Thank you so much for reaching out. The Pro Riser Will include a 1/4 20 knob for the câmera só it’s ready to use out of the box, or you can purchase a separate tripod bracket or arca rail to attach based on your needs.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any further questions!

Anthony,

I’ve found the assembly instructions and they show images of the camera mount.

Mel, thank you so much, Sir, for your help. Having the mounting bracket already, I’ll be good to go with the assembly when it arrives, which I hope is sooner rather than later
