Setting change after moving slides

Hi!

I’m having a really strange and frustrating issue lately- when I edit my scans using (the latest version of) NLP, it will “flicker” for a second and change the results quite significantly.

A more detailed version:

After importing my scans to Lightroom I launch NPL and start my conversion as usual.

The problem starts when I start adjusting the sliders. For example, I might move the wb slider slightly, and it looks right as I want it. But than it will “flicker” and show a completely different result, what makes the whole editing process more of a guess game as I try to change it not according to what I initially see but what will be shown after it flickers…

It’s not always happening, at least not as strong, I think it tends to happen more on files that need a little more work.

I’m on a M4 mac if that matters.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi,

Is this happening in the Develop module or the Library module? In general, I strongly recommend the Develop module.

What version of Lightroom and NLP are you on?

If you can find a file where this happens consistently, can you send me the original of the file (nate@natephotographic.com) and show me exactly how to replicate the issue?

Dear Nate, You are the best!

It never occurred to me that there’s a difference between running NLP in the library and develop modules. I just switched to the develop module and the issue is gone.

I really appreciate you taking the time to always help and reply, this is not taken for granted!

P.S.

Sorry it took me so long to respond, I missed the notification:)
