I made a folder of images which were copied from film. After editing the analog metadata I Exported from Lightroom back to the Lightroom catalog for the purpose of writing the metadata to the files.
I noticed the Lightroom “pick” flags were missing from the Exported images. Is there any way to preserve the flags when Exporting?
Pick/Reject flags are not included in file exports. They are meant to help you decide whether to work on an image or to simply ignore or delete an image. Under this assumption, exporting pick/reject info seems to be unnecessary.
You can always e.g. work around this “issue” using keywords, colour labels or star ratings to convey the desired meaning.
