Epson Scan 2 Error codes

Flatbed and Film Scanners Epson Scan

I was in the middle of scanning with Epson Scan 2 and then these errors started popping up!

Error codes:
e583-b318
e425-b301

I have:

  • Used a single USB port
  • Reinstalled the Software (twice!)

To no avail!

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Hi, I am having a similar error message on my Epson V750

  • error E425-B301 (Mac OS 10.15.X)

Have you been able to solve the problem?
Was it a software fix?
