I have Negative Lab on my PC and my laptop. I recently split up my catalogue into 2 seperate ones as it was exceeding 150k photos. On my new Archive catalogue Negative Lab is on trial mode, despite it being the same computer, and says I have exceeded the device limit.
Hmm, that’s strange… it shouldn’t really matter what catalog you are using… but it is possible that somewhere along the way, the license got dropped…

Just enter the email address associated with your purchase, and it should let you see any order information associated with your order, including any previous license activations you made. Just click “deactivate” and it will remotely remove that activation from the old computer.
