I badly need the film and slide holders for a Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400. Does anyone have such pieces that they are willing to sell? Or suggestions as to where such might be acquired?
I have the scanner itself, which seems to work fine. I just need the holders.
I’ve been trying to figure out whether to get my 5400 fixed or sell for parts, as it started producing very noisy scans with streaks. Maybe needs new main board, so not sure if it’s worth it. Where do you live?

Have you found holders yet. I may have some. My 5400 is having problems and I’m thinking of upgrading. I have both the negative and slide holders. I need to do a little more tinkering to see if I really need a new scanner but want to do it soon since winter is the time I spend on scanning. I’m also in WA state (Vancouver).
