I held a negative up to reflect the light so that I could photograph the mould/growth on the emulsion with an iPhone. I reviewed the iPhone photo, enlarging it on screen to see more detail, and took a screen cap. I then took the screen cap (low-res, 8-bit jpeg) and opened it in LR and NLP to see what would happen. NLP actually reproduced the image. really impressive!!!
