RGB/I Light source support now that RBG lightsources are appearing

There has been sporadic discussion of RGB lightsources on these forums through the years. [1, 2, 3]. These have been theoretical or driven by some of the more expert DIY/Homebrew members. Few if any users actually had a RGB lightsource, even less a full RGB+Infrared light.

These lightsources are finally coming to market, such as the CineStill Spectracolor, CuteNewDesign’s RGB light, and the upcoming ToneCarrier RGB lightsource. Infrared-plus-white lightsource are also appearing, such as the Filmomat Autocarrier. But as Pushing Film explains, the software still lags.

@nate what’s your thoughts around adding RBG light support to NLP?

Will the CS-LITE+ SpectraCOLOR™ Light Source give better color results than my old trusted Raleno 192 LED video light i bought on Amazon 4 years ago?

Yes, I will bring support to RGB/I light sources, but please be patient as I’m working on a lot of other updates right now! Also, note that I may be able to offer a better implementation on this in the standalone I’m working on vs the existing plugin for lightroom, just based on what’s possible in Lightroom.
