Hello! Writing from Perú. I always been told that you always need to calibrate the scanner ( in my case, a V750 perfection), with the it8 color chart. I would like to know if negative lab pro requires this calibration for making a correct negative conversion. I only want to use negative lab pro for my conversion in lightroom but i wonder if the calibration in crucial in order to negative lab pro works well. I would appreciate your help very much.
IT8 targets are only used for color transparencies. There are no calibration targets for negatives.
