Which copystand is more convenient?

with decent tripod head.

Or

Skier Foldable Copy Stand?

I would avoid that unit, I went that route initially and it is garbage. The Skier unit, on the other hand, is very well built.

Thank you so much! Very helpful answer

I own and use the Firstcall model. I’ve had mine since 2016 or so. It’s decent enough, and for the price works great. For 30£ or whatever price it’s retailing for now I’d buy it again. It’s meant for either mirroless cameras or something in that range, i.e not something that’s heavy as a brick. For my uses it does the job. Just my 2 cents.

I use the DöRR repro stand H75. I have nothing to compare it with, but I think it works pretty good.

The issues I have are more connected to the rest of the setup… (see my other posts if interested…).

I would not use a cheap copy stand, because it may be worth the money to buy one that holds the camera even (use a spirit level to see if thats the case and if the plate of the stand is on the same level…).

Anyhow, share your experience, once you gathered some experience…
