Hey folks, LR Classic, Mac OS 27 Golden Gate, NLP 2.4.2 and getting the following error as well as NLP crashing. This wasn’t happening before I updated to Mac OS 27. I have uninstalled and deleted NLP, redownloaded and reinstalled and still no solution.

The issue you have is one that I had quite a while ago, when testing NLP on Apple Silicon hardware. If I remember correctly, it had to do with NLP NOT being a fully “universal” app, i.e. an app that can run on Apple Silicon without Rosetta 2. The “magick” part of NLP was the one that was not ready and the message you got points this out. so here are a few questions that can possibly help you get around the issue:

Thanks for the reply, it looks like Rosetta 2 was the sticking point! I’ll keep an eye out on the next Mac OS update when that goes away, seems I’ll have to upgrade to NLP 3. Thanks again!
