Conversion not working

Conversion is not working in Mac OS for me. This is the first time I have tried to use in Mac OS.
NLP looks like it’s working and converting and then it lands on the start window again without converting the negatives at all. Just like I would have opened the convert window for the first time.

Reinstalling NLP didn’t fix the issue.

Lightroom classic 14.5.1
Mac OS Sequoia 15.7
NLP 3.1.1

Have you checked that Lightroom can access the images with read and write?

I can edit images in the same drive and save metadata to them, so I assume so.

Is there any way to explicitly check that?

Anyone else can help me figure this one out please?

Checking Access rights consists of several steps

  1. Check Lightroom rights, what do you see in the two categories in the magenta box?
(add screenshots or list in words)

  2. Check rights of the folder with your pictures. They should look like this, except that instead go macadmin, you should see your own home folder name. Select the folder and press cmd-I

Hope the above helps. If not, we’d have to re-iterate.

It still does not work.

In Files & Folders says it has full access.
I added Lightroom Classic to Full Disk Access.
Sharing and permissions looks correct.

I started up LrC, tried to convert, but the same thing happened.

Try this:

  1. Create a new user account.
  2. Log into that account
  3. Copy a folder of images from the old user to the new user
  4. Test

Ok, this worked.

Is there anyway that this can inform me on how to setup things in my original user account?

There are ways to reset access rights of a user account.
Search the Internet for instructions. Look at more than one site and try to find what’s best for your case/skillset. Some of the things use the CLI (Terminal.app) which is not everybody’s darling.

Re-inslatting LRC and NLP fixed the issue.
