Hello,
I’m sorry if this has been answered, I could not find enough information in the guide or forum.
I just started using NLP which I bought 3 years ago (lack of time). I directly installed the 3.02 after buying the upgrade. I’m using Lightroom classic (latest).
I did some tests recently in order to understand the process and the numerous options and settings. While the conversion process, choice of settings and tone profiles in NLP seem clear and easy to understand, once the conversion is done, I’m back in Lightroom with some confusion.
In the Library Module, under the presets section in a “folder” called “NLP Enhanced Settings”, I find a ton of NLP-xxxxxxx etc presets. My first concern is that I do not know if I need to chose one, which ones are relevant. Also, I noticed a lot of those include 2.3 in the name, but I don’t remember having installed NLP 2.3 on this machine.
My second issue is that in the develop module, I also find a lot of profiles in 2 folders “Negative Lab Pro” with 45 of them all named “Negative Lab v2.3 xxxxx”, and “NLP enhanced Settings” with 4 of them having similar names which seem to be missing from the other folder. And finally another folder named “Profiles” with only one profile int it called “Negative Lab Pro v2.3”. Those folders appeared next to the regular Adobe, Camera Matching and other profile folders.
I don’t understand if there is a relation between those NLP library settings and develop settings, why they are NLP 2.3, and ultimately what to do with all this.
Sorry if this looks basic to some of you, but I’m a regular LR user doing just photography but not digital scanning.
Thanks for any help and clarification
