Nikon Coolscan V + Vuescan + NLP

Hi, I have a Nikon Coolscan V on hand, but before I buy it:

1: is this an easy and reliable workflow?
2: What drivers do I need to make this work (all the things I have to download/buy)? I have Lightroom and NLP.
