NLP not saving to subfolder

I’ve done a search and not seen any result like mine though there may be some posts.

I recently had to do a clean install of Win 11 and all programs.
Before the reinstall I had scanned my negatives using vuescan set to scan as RAW negatives. When processing in NLP I was able to go into advanced and set the placement to subfolder and save the converted images to the subfolder ‘positives’.

Since the clean install I can still set the placement to subfolder but when I click on apply a small notification with a progress bar flashes in the centre of the screen but disappears too fast to read it.
The subfolder isn’t created and no positives are saved.

Has anyone any ideas as to why this is happening as I would rather keep the positives in their own folder without having to go through LRc’s export as an extra step.
Thanks in advance

This might be due to (newly set) access rights not being what they should be for your case.

  • Please check/correct access rights to the directory you intend to use
  • Try a different target directory, one you do have access to

It turned out to be because I hadn’t checked the ‘Create Copies’ in the edit menu. For some reason (still unknown to me) I was under the impression the create copies just created a virtual copy in Lightroom.
