NLP on Linux and FreeBSD

I bought a license of NLP in 03.2020, after I was testing the possibility to run Lightroom on WINE in Linux or FreeBSD. WINE is a Windows emulator that can support some Windows software. The other way. much heavier, is to run a virtual PC like Virtualbox or VMMware, install a Windows on it, then Lightroom.
Back in 2020 I could install LR6 on WINE by prior installation of a set of additional DLL (use winetricks for instance) and on FreeBSD had to manually compile a x86-x64 WINE.
Other versions (7,8,9) of Lightroom I could not install or could but did crash at runtime because more serious issues with underlying MS components calls, but LR6 is better anyway because the last non-subscription version.

I stopped using NLP after two months, but the other day I saw the files in a hardisk I was archiving and decided to try on the current WINE, versions 10.x.
It installs flawlessly and, for the short time I played with it, runs well. In winecfg I set Windows version as 7.
Only glitch I have experienced is that the “CONVERT NEGATIVES” text in the push rectangle of NLP doesn’t show, but you just click in it:

a desktop capture, showing Linux version and bit of practical setting like paths and shortcuts, and LR ran from 2:20:

Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
