I just installed NLP 3.1 on my new Windows 11 computer. After installation I discovered that the Windows hotkey (Ctrl-Alt-N) is not working in Lightroom. Also, I see that NegativeLabHotkey.exe is not in the Windows autostart list. I have rebooted my computer and still don’t see it. I also cannot find any hotkey folder after the installation from which I can manually set up the hotkey to autostart.
No. I’ve looked. The only troubleshooting item I’ve seen in the user guide for the hotkey is for Mac. I’ve watched a YouTube video (from Nate?) on manually installing the hotkey. I’ve also tried reinstalling NLP 3.1. I can find no hotkey folder referenced in the video that would contain the EXE file for me to add to Windows startup.
I have done exactly what is shown in the installation guide. Yes, I go a message that “Windows protected my PC”, to which I responded “Run Anyway”. And yes, at the end of the installation I had the box checked to “Start running the hotkey”. I have done a search of my computer for “NegativeLabHotKey.exe” and nothing comes up.
I have searched the forum. None of the search results show a solution to the issue I have described. Rerunning the installer as suggested by @nate in a past post does not fix the problem.
The basic issue is that the installer did not put the file “NegativeLabHotkey.exe” anywhere on my computer. It is also not a file that is among the files in the installer ZIP file. I have looked around on the Negative Lab Pro web site and have not found anywhere to download the hotkey .exe file separately.
